Famed as the Eighth Wonder of the World, The Amber Room was presented to Peter the Great by the King of Prussia.
Glowing at the heart of Catherine Palace near St Petersburg, the chamber was lined entirely with amber panels backed with gold leaf and mirrors.
When lit with more than five hundred candles it was reputed to glow like trapped sunshine and fiery gold. Created by melting together amber, Cognac and honey, its history and brilliance has inspired the creation of this fragrance.
